Soda Boy was started by Ben Hughes who ran “Honey Boy”, a honey store, located at 2824 South Belt Highway in St. Joseph, MO in 1964. It was at this location where Ben began to mix and develop unique flavors for soft drinks that he later named “Soda Boy”. His sodas are still fondly remembered by much of the community to this day. Their creamy flavor reminds you of the first taste of an ice cream cone on a hot summer day.
